Food Aid For Families: Update

IMG-20200516-WA0008.jpg

For the first six weeks, the lockdown curfew in Pushkar was lifted for only two one-hour periods each day. Now, there is just one two-hour period each day for leaving home to buy food and fetch water. The curfews have been rigorously enforced by the police, so getting food parcels to over 100 families, approximately every 10-14 days and within such brief timescales, is a serious logistical challenge! However, as always, the kindness, positivity and sheer hard work of many of our friends and partners in Pushkar has ensured that this is achieved. We are filled with admiration for them.
