Congratulations to Ghanu!

Our congratulations go to Ghanu who has successfully completed his 3-year traineeship in Animal Care. Our dear friend, Rachel Wright, Veterinary Nurse and founder of the Tree Of Life For Animals rescue hospital in Ajmer, reports that “We really could not ask for a better apprentice than Ghanu.  He has become such an asset to our nurturing team that it leaves a big hole whenever he is away on leave.  He never complains, no matter what the workload he has to face, but just quietly and diligently gets on with whatever task is at hand.  Bunty, his nurturing team manager, has nothing but praise for his work, calling him ‘ek number’ (like first class)!

He has mastered all of the skills that he needs to be a successful member of this particular team and his sensitive and kind nature mean that no animal could want for a better person to care for them and nurse them back to health.  He is very organised in the approach to his work and it is very rare that you need to tell him what to do, as he is already one step ahead of the game.  He is incredibly responsible, but seeks help when it is needed though.  He is very respectful of his peers.

Since the last update, he has already taken an active role in helping to teach the newest member of the nurturing team the various tasks that make up the role; he is a thoughtful and patient teacher and they have become quite the double act.”
