Pushkar Water Supply

waterindia.jpg

Our pupils and their families living in tents on the desert camps in Pushkar rely on the public water stations for all of their water. The water stations in the town are now closed under the lockdown restrictions, so the women and girls - who traditionally fetch water for their families - must now walk to more remote public water pumps to carry water, often very long distances and only during prescribed times, back to their camps.
