Our Lovely Sharda's Wonderful Recovery

When we visited Sharda and her grandparents at their village, some twenty miles North West of Pushkar, we were overwhelmed by the difference we could see in her since our last visit. Sharda suffered severe burns at the beginning of this year, when her dress was set alight by flames from a camp fire. The return of her wonderful smile, against all odds, was a profound joy to see. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who responded so generously to the appeal for donations to fund her medical care. Sharda makes twice-weekly visits to hospital and is expected to be able to undergo skin grafting in about six months’ time.
