Tobacco and Teeth

Our partnership desert camp school runs health education programmes to support the wellbeing of its pupils. This one, for example, is designed to discourage pupils from smoking and chewing tobacco - a very common habit here, even among very young children. The programme involves pupils learning about dental hygiene, including free visits to the dentist for everyone for check-ups and teeth cleaning, free toothpaste and brushes and teeth-cleaning instruction for all.
